Instagram Capturing Example

This document provides a brief overview of what is captured in Instagram Archiving.

Available Content for Capture

The content that is captured includes the following:

   •  Profile of Monitored user

   •  Posts of Monitored user

   •  Photos attached to posts of Monitored user

   •  Multiple Photos in one post (or Carousel post) of Monitored user

   •  Videos attached to posts of Monitored user

   •  Comments only by the Monitored user on monitored posts; comments by unmonitored users are not available from the Instagram API

 

Message Subject-lines and Captured Headers

View captured Headers by clicking “View Headers” checkbox in ZixCentral Message Viewer:

    x-erado-direction: In/Out (Inbound to the monitored user and outbound from the monitored user)

    x-erado-source: instagram.com

    x-erado-sm-acct: user@domain.com  (Business email address of social media account)

    x-erado-post-date: Tue, 21 Nov 2017 15:09:02 (date/time of post)

    x-erado-capture-date: Tue, 21 Nov 2017 16:04:05 (date/time of post captured)

 

The different types of posts have the following details in the subject line and message headers.

Profile Subject line:  “Instagram Profile of [Monitored-User]”

    x-erado-media-type: Post

    x-erado-media-post-type: profile

Post Subject line: “Instagram Post of [Monitored-User]”

    x-erado-media-type: Post

    x-erado-media-post-type: image\video\carousel

Comment – Subject line: "Instagram Comment on Post of [Monitored-User]"

    x-erado-media-type: Post

    x-erado-media-post-type: comment
