Hotmail.com and Yahoo sometimes causes false positives

Email messages from Hotmail.com and Yahoo can sometimes cause false positives due to the ride along ads that get inserted at the bottom. These ads usually have java script or 1 x 1 pixel images embedded in them or other tracking mechanisms that report back the number of impressions that the ride along ad has made. These impressions are equivalent to a Website hit counter for the ad so the advertiser will know the overall reach of their advertising. These items that are reporting back the ad impression can sometimes trigger the antispam signatures. To resolve it simply add the full email address of the hotmail or yahoo account to exception list. As always let us know if you have any problems with it by sending an email to: support@appriver.com
